While other classic shows from the s like “Roseanne,” “Will and Grace” and “Murphy Brown” have been revived, there are no plans to bring back Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David’s “show about nothing. Perhaps that is for the best as any reboot would inevitably be seen as inferior to the original. And didn’t they sort of already do that on “Curb Your Enthusiasm?

So I told the story to try and clarify that no one wanted to kill Heidi. And again I say, I and the cast really liked and like Heidi. She is a kind, lovely person who undoubtedly worked really hard to create Susan and that character was clearly what Larry and Jerry wanted her to be for George. But because the scenes were playing the way they were, the relationship with George and Susan sustained a whole season.
Larry and Jerry were not sure how that relationship would end. They were always looking for an inventive end to the engagement.

Peterman has a breakdown and goes to Burma leaving Elaine in charge; a position she is reluctant to assume. Kramer makes a speech that inspires Elaine to go and take charge of J. Inspired by a comment that Jerry made, a foundation is established in Susan’s name, which will take up all of George’s free time. Jerry and Dolores do get together; however, when she hears why Jerry’s engagement was broken off, she leaves commenting that he still hasn’t matured.

Many viewers tend to love one show over the other, often getting into arguments over which was the better show. From the comedic genius of Larry David Curb Your Enthusiasm , the series revolved heavily around its characters’ interactions and crazy situations. Uncle Leo pops up throughout the series and tends to be an annoyance to Jerry. Bania appeared in 6 episodes of the series throughout its run.

Life is strange… and funny. First, the dovetail maneuverings become more contrived, because that skill has diminished. But with three or four plots per script, story still runs rampant, and without the guiding focus of a regularly replicatable template regardless of its own shortcomings , the results end up just as bad for character.
Before, the high and low rarely mingled — usually everything started low and then became high as a result of the lofty, writer-imposed structure. Now, every episode has something small to enjoy, while few can be enjoyed largely and in full. Unevenness is common. So if the complicated structure is losing its importance, then something has to come along and fill the vacuum — at least for the purposes of our identity analysis.

In the end, the quartet were found guilty, and tossed into prison for one year. I remember being more befuddled by the finale than angry. They actually went to jail? But only for one year? How could it be so long ago so soon? That in turn led me to revisit many of the episodes and then, in a scheme so crazy not even Kramer would have attempted it, to rank every single one.
Generally I found the show holds up really well. But there are still so many half hours of pure genius, and even moments of greatness in the lesser episodes. And here is all of it, ranked from worst to best. It did get some; it was criticized in its day for its portrayal of Puerto Ricans along with Kramer accidentally burning the Puerto Rican flag , which caused it to be pulled from summer repeats on NBC and removed from the Seinfeld syndication package for a while.
